I first consigned at Just Between Friends because one of my friends encouraged me to take the abundance of toys, clothes, videos, books, and baby things my children had outgrown. I am so glad I did. I dropped off my things and I was done! When I got my first check, it was a LOT more than I would have gotten anywhere else. I also got some great deals on clothes for my children. Try it once, and you will be hooked too! I can't wait for the next sale! I have consigned and shopped JBF. I tell all my friends with children and grandchildren about the events. I enjoy being able to price my items at a fair price for me, and I make so much more than if I take them to a resale shop. It beats setting up for a garage sale and my husband has no complaints! Thanks Pam and Joanie for making this easy and fun! I just wanted to tell you how excited I was today when I opened my check from the sale! I made almost exactly the amount I thought I would make! I made enough to cover what I bought at the sale, plus about a hundred dollars more. My husband has been saving up for some new "boy toys" and I was able to give him the money as a gift to buy the things he has been wanting for so long. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy every aspect of your sale. I'm able to get rid of alot of clutter and make more money than I would at a resale shop or garage sale. And the deals I find are great! I am able to buy lots of Gymboree, Gap, and other brand name clothes that are in great condition for nearly nothing! We are a one income household and because of your sale, we are able to give our children the best AND still have money left to play with. I am looking so forward to the fall sale--I already have a box of stuff to be sold, and I am anxious to put my name down again to volunteer for the beloved presale pass! We go to the Fall sale and buy all of my grandbabies clothes for Winter and the Spring sale to buy for Spring and Summer. I consign and do a little volunteer work for the privledge of going in early on the Presale night. The Spring sale of 2007 was wonderful. I bought 31 complete outfits and 6 pairs of shoes for $166.00 averageing $5.35 per outfit. My grandbaby always looks great and we are always asked where we get her clothes because she always looks so pretty. Our answer is JBF sales and we give them the website. Looking forward to the Fall/Winter sale! I just want to tell you ladies thanks for all the hardwork this past week at the JBF sale. It is something that I look forward to each time it comes around. Seriously, about 6 weeks before each sale I start my JBF fund - each time I deposit a paycheck I put $10 or $20 away in my wallet. Then when the sale comes, I am ready to shop! Everyone always tells me how cute my little girl looks, and I couldn't do it without you. I love it when people go on and on about an outfit and I can say "got it for $5!" At this past sale, I bought 27 outfits. I had "pigeon-holed" $120, and I spent $124.95 - couldn't have planned it better! Thanks again, and we'll see you in September! Emily M. You put on the best organized and biggest sale, but all in one spot so a million times more convenient! I recommend your sale to everyone. Thanks so much for putting on this sale. Unfortunately, I lost my mom shortly before the last sale so I just didn't get it together to consign, but I did do some shopping! Your sale had become a tradition for my mom and me to come to together. She loved picking out summer dresses for my little girl. I just want to remind you of how much people really look forward to your sales! Not only does it save us money, but I am sure my mom and I are not the only ones who enjoy the bonding time together. The Presale was probably the only time each year that we spent any time together without my kids. Thanks for all the work you both do to make this sale such a great event! I have consigned at the Fort Worth sale for the last 3 or 4 sales now and also volunteered at the sale in September. I enjoyed doing it even though I could only work 4 hours due to kids' and hubby's work schedule. I really think you guys have it together - it is very consignor and shopper friendly! I have been telling everyone I know to consign and shop at your sale ever since I first consigned with you gals. Now, I'm telling my girlfriends that they really need to volunteer too. It was a fun four hours helping out, getting out of the house kid-free, and I got to shop even earlier! I got some really good deals, of course. I am really am glad that JBF exists and that there is a franchise near me that is so well managed (and stocked!) You guys keep up the good work. I can't wait until March! Who knew cleaning out your kids' closets could be so much fun! I have consigned twice and will keep doing so in the future! Volunteering - What a fun time! You get to get out of the house, make new friends, all the while making the sale a success (and earning more money on your sold items, too!) I loved shopping early at the Volunteer Presale. I had a blast! I will volunteer again and again! Shopping - JBF is the best way to get the best deals on clothing, toys, equipment, etc. They have such a huge selection and everything is in great condition. I first shopped with JBF when we expecting our first grandchild - didn’t know about volunteering at that time but found out about it before the next sale and have been volunteering ever since. I have helped supply both grandchildren with clothes, shoes and toys at both my house and their house, as well as get my daughter maternity clothes, stroller, high chair and many great items for the new baby. And I still have money to spend on me! It is a great organization and I love meeting and working with all the volunteers. I really appreciate that JBF makes sure that the merchandise is not damaged or stained. It is refreshing to know that the items you buy are still in good condition. In the strained economic times, I recommend that everyone should check out JBF - I tell everyone I know about it. Not only do you get good deals on children’s clothes, shoes, toys and baby items but you can resell your items, so if you plan right you really aren’t out much, if any, money.
